PHONY JDBE.EXE virus!
Jdbe virus hoax. Jdbe.exe virus hoax. RPC Doom Virus Detected Pop-up Hoax.
Don't doubt your Norton or McAfee virus protection. These are FAKE VIRUSES
All of these are going around the world at lightspeed again. Just DELETE THEM.

The doom virus warning appears to be coming from Microsoft.......but it's merely an annoting pop-up designed to get your attention. Press ctrl-alt-del, highlight the when you find it in the task manager screen, and "end task".

I promise that I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM A POP-UP AD!!!

If you receive an email about a virus called JDBE, or JDBG - delete the email - DO NOT follow the instructions to search for it so that you can destroy it. Searching for the virus could activate a virus if there is one!! In this case, there is NO virus.

Just delete the email, and tell your friends to do the same.

Microsoft, McAfee, and Symantec (Norton) DO NOT SEND EMAIL "FIXES". They post them on their websites.

MORE FAKE VIRUSES!!

After just getting past the jdbe.exe hoax, I just got a dire warning which seemed to be coming from Microsoft, advising me that the RPC DOOM VIRUS had been detected on my computer, and suggesting that I click "OK" to "Disinfect" my computer. (For more on the jdbe.exe hoax, scroll down)

I didn't do that. I will NEVER do that. Instead, I activated the task manager (ctrl + alt + del) and highlighted the "RPC DOOM VIRUS WARNING". Then I clicked "End Task", and the thing went away.

It was just a damned stupid pop-up. (Only an idiot would think that this stupid trick would encourage ANYONE to buy ANYTHING from someone who would use an idiotic ruse like this.)

I had disabled my 12 Ghosts Popup Killer long enough to check my blogstats, and the popup sneaked in.

Will the popup people ever figure out that they more annoying than mosquitoes?? Have you ever welcomed mosquitoes? Has anyone ever bought anything from one? Popup people.....take note of the answers to those questions.

"Never dumb down for anyone em>

Hi Amy.

Today was a bad, depressing day. There was nothing good about it. Except for Laura, there doesn't seem to be any reason to keep up the game of pretending that "things will get better". You're gone. How is that going to get better?

I hope that your life is going well.

I'm deeply saddened by your absence and my inability to be a meaningful, happy part of your life. I stopped being happy the day your mother took you away, and I've just begun to accept that I'm not going to be as happy as I once was until I can forget you the way you once were. Laura and I have a very good life together, and we speak of you often.

I don't know if you are even able to read this. I've posted a bunch of Valentine's Day hearts for you. I sent you a card to the old address, but your mother has probably thrown it away. If you aren't able to read this, then others who can see this will also see that I've never stopped loving you, and never will as long as I'm alive, and maybe someone who knows you will tell you that someday.

We're leaving for Joshua Tree. It's an amazing place from what I've heard. I'll take lots of digital pics, but since I can't email any to you, I'll send you a post card.

If you ever decide to make contact, I'll always welcome you, and I will never stop loving you. Your jealous mother has moved you a couple of rows farther towards the back so that your talents, abilities, and beauty can't be seen.

I won't be seeing you during the dance you because she's put you in the back row, but I'll know that you're back there, dancing beautifully, as always.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love,

Daddy

Dear Amy,

I sent you another letter on Sunday, so it should arrive today. I have no confidence that you're getting everything I send you. I can imagine a scenario in which your mother or her new husband read all of my letters before you do. I suspect that if they don't like the content, they throw it away. Your mother has a habit of doing that with people too.

Latley, I've been deluged with jdbe.exe. virus hoaxes, and also a pop-up virus hoax" I've also been getting silly letters from "Africans" who live in France or the Czech Republic. One purported to be from the widow of a nice guy who was killed while trying to bring democracy to his emabattled country. She wanted my checking account number so she could deposit several hundred thousand dollars into it for safekeeping. (She knew that she could trust me because I am a freedom-loving American)
Yesterday I received a similar letter from "Chief Yango Bubu" saying that he needed me to protect his embattled tribe's few remaining assets ("..all that's left of the assets is a bit less than 6 hundred thousand US dollars") by hiding them in my checking account. Mr Bubu said that his tribe was being wiped out, and if the killing continued, there would be no one left to collect the tribal assets, so they would be mine because there would be no record in Africa of the deposit he wants to make to my account.

What Chief Bubu really meant was that he was going to have a really good tribal plundering of my checking account if I was dumb enough to give him access to it. What Chief Bubu didn't know is that I am broke.

Hi Amester!

This site is supposed to be for you, but lately it's just been a place where I come and vent. I'm sorry that I've lost track of my purpose.

I just apologized to you not knowing if you are even allowed to read anything I write. You probably don't know about this place. I'm pretty sure that your mother or her new husband probably destroyed the letters in which I've given you this blogsite address.

I have to go and do some errands.............

I love you,

Bub

This says an enormous amount about almost everything.
It's probably the most eloquent piece of art I've ever seen!

Hi Amester!

I thought that you would probably enjoy this cartoon, if you were able to see it.
